The Winslow Black Raiders won a thriller Saturday afternoon in Bangor, with Jack Lapierre tipping in shot in the final second to lift his team over the Oceanside Mariners and earn a spot in the semifinals.

No. 4 Winslow was down by one point in the closing seconds when the Black Raiders held for the last shot, which bounced around the rim before Lapierre's tip-in sealed the last-second 39-38 victory.

Lapierre led the Black Raiders (16-3) with 11 points. Michael Wildes had 10 points, and Colby Pomeroy added 8.

For Oceanside (13-6), senior Michael Norton had 13 points, and Cooper Wirkala had 9 points.

It was a back-and-forth game, with Winslow holding a 10 point lead at the half. Oceanside was able to come back and take the lead in the fourth quarter.
