Lufkin Signs NLI To Play At Wofford

Gaziano Award winning defensive lineman from Brewer High School,  Austin Lufkin, signed his National Letter of Intent to play football at Wofford College in South Carolina on Wednesday afternoon.

He will attend the FCS school on a full football scholarship.

Lufkin is 6-foot-3, 270-pounds and was an All-PTC lineman on offense and defense for the Witches.

He also is a record breaking shot putter on the track and field scene. Just a couple of weeks ago, Lufkin broke the EMITL record in the shot put and he is the New England outdoor champion.

Wofford College plays in the Southern Conference of FCS football.
