The Maine Men's Basketball Team fell to Stony Brook 71-60 on Saturday evening, November 8th

Stony Brook led 38-37 at the end of the 1st Half, and then outscored Maine 33-23 in the 2nd Half for the 11 point win.

Maine was led by Ryan Mabrey with 14 points and Bashir N'Galang with 11 points. Ace Flagg coming off the bench had 8 points. Flagg was Maine's leading rebounder with 8 before fouling out.

Maine shot 41.2 percent from the field, going 21-51. They were just 3-15 from beyond the 3-point arc, and just 15-25 from the free throw line

Stony Brook outrebounded Maine 42-36.

Stony Brook starts the season at 2-0 while Maine drops to 0-2. The Black Bears are back on the court on Monday, November 10th when they will play at Rutgers. Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m. Join Ron Lisnet for the call of the game on 92.9 The Ticket with the pregame starting at 6 p.m.
