From All Star Game Home Run Derby champ, to National League home run king and now to NL Rookie of the Year. NY Mets slugger Pete Alonso and those Maine-made Dove Tail bats seems to be working.

Alonso recieved 29 of a possible 30 first place votes from baseball writers for the top rookie award.

And why not.

He smashed 53 home runs, breaking the rookie MLB record held by Aaron Judge while also leading the NL for most homers.

Alonso used bats made from Maine wood and produced by Dove Tail Bats company in Shirley(Piscataquis County).
