Merrill Wins NAC Player of Week Award

Husson University senior Kayla Merrill is the North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for her pitching and hitting during last week's softball swing through Florida.

The Eagles finished the trip 5-7.

Merrill hit .441 (15-for-34) and scored nine runs. She also won two games as a pitcher and recorded one save.

NOTE:  UMaine Farmington infielder Ben Keene is NAC baseball Player of the Week. He hit .478 (11-for-23) with 11 RBI. The Beavers are off to a 6-0 start to the season.
