MMA’s Doyon Wins NEFC Defensive Award

Maine Maritime Academy senior linebacker Jeddy Doyon(Hampden Academy) is the New England Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Doyon was a big part of a late-game goal line stand as the Mariners defeated Mass Maritime 47-41 to claim the Admiral's Cup.

Doyon had 16 tackles, including  seven solo tackles.

NOTE:  MMA freshman kicker Chad Martin(Lawrence HS) is NEFC Special Teams Player of the Week. He kicked two late game field goals (28-yard, 25-yard) in Saturday's win.
