Former UMaine captain Jim Montgomery and his UDenver Pioneers are back in the Frozen Four for a second straight year. A 6-3 win over Penn State to win the NCAA Mid-West Regional. Denver will play the lone Hockey East team - Notre Dame in one national semi-final.

The win vs Penn St was the 100th win at Denver for Montgomery.

Haravard vs Minn-Duluth play in the other semi-final.

The Frozen Four will be play in Chicago April 6th and 8th.
