NAC: Eagles, Terriers Split Twinbill

Two tight North Atlantic Conference games at the Winkin Complex in Bangor and when it was over the Husson Eagles and Thomas Terriers split the twinbill.

GAME 1 Husson 5  Thomas 2:  Eagles RHP Jess Colford pitched the first seven innings, giving up just two runs on six hits. He struck out seven and got credit for his fourth win of the spring.

Four Eagles had two hits with Nick Guerrette adding two RBI on his hits.

GAME 2 Thomas 2  Husson 1:  The Terriers earned the doubleheader split by scoring two first inning runs on a triple by Ryan Kappelmann. He had three hits in the game.

Four Terrier pitchers combined to hold the Eagles to three hits.

Husson is now 6-4 in NAC play (16-12 overall). Thomas is 1-1 and 3-15.
