New Year’s Day Win: Caribou 74 Ellsworth 42

The first day of the new year brought together two of the top teams in Class B North hoops together on the hardwood. #1 Caribou hosted #4 Ellsworth in a battle for a lot of Heal Points.

The Vikings ended up dominating the game and won 74-42. Caribou held the Eagles to just 18 points (34-18) in the first half. In the second half, the Vikings outscored the visitors 40-24.

Parker Deprey scored 23 and Sawyer Deprey added 19 to a balanced attack for Caribou.

Jackson Curtis and Darby Barry each had nine for Ellsworth.

The Vikes improve to 7-0 and run their unbeaten streak to 23.. The Eagles drop to 4-2.
