North Region Stars Win 3 Of 4 Games [SCORES]
The North Region wins three of the four McDonald's Senior All Star Games at Husson University in Bangor.
Class AA/A/B Boys: North 145 South 120 Jacob Godfrey led all scorers with 29. Fellow Hermon Hawk Keen Marseille had 26. Noah Malone had 19 and Jack Kane had 18 for the South team.
Class AA/A/B Girls: South 84 North 81 Meagan Graff from South Portland led with 19 points. Emme Poulin of Cheverus with 23 and Grace Philippon from John Bapst had 14 for the North.
Class C/D Boys: North 114 South 89 GSA's Taylor Schildroth pumped in 30 points and Jacob Daigle from Ft Kent added 20 for the North. Zac Small from Richmond had 23 for the South.
Class C/D Girls: North 79 South 74 Miss Maine Basketball Kolleen Bouchard scored 21 points, as did Sydney Allen for the North. Sydney Underhill-Titlon from Richmond had 16 for the South.
Hermon High School 6-foot-6 senior Jacob Godfrey won the Slam Dunk Competition with a score of 60 in the final round.
Chandler True from Lake Region HS won the Three-Point Competition, scoring 11 shots for the five different locations.
Several coaches were honored for reaching win milestones, included Camden Hills coach Jeff Hart and Falmouth's Dave Halligan for reaching the 500 win mark during the season.
Colby Archer from Old Town HS and Katie Butterfield from Monmouth won the Free Throw Competition. Archer hit 48 of 50 but needed to hit 9 of 10 in a playoff. Butterfield hit 49 of 50.
