Former UMaine Black Bear Gustav Nyquist did the Boston Bruins a little favor last night, scoring a penalty shot goal in overtime to beat the Toronto Maple Leafs. Now the Leafs come to Boston Garden tonight.

With the game tied 3-3, Nyquist had a breakaway 1:57 into overtime. He was hooked down by Toronto's Mitch Marner and that means a penalty shot for Nyquist.

Nyquist signed a free agent deal in the off season with Columbus. He now has two goals and three assists in the first nine games for the Blue Jackets.
