Bangor and Brewer have played many games in many sports over the years but today was a first. The two schools played a varsity boys lacrosse game and the Rams beat the Witches 6-1.

The two schools have had the sport of lacrosse in the pipeline for several years. Bangor began play as a varsity team last spring. Brewer played its first varsity, Heal Points countable game today.

The Rams got two goals from sophomores Johnny Lyon and Zach Wellman. Seniors Nason Vassiliev and Reid Higgs added scores.

For the Witches, a freshman, Cole Dumond scores the first ever lacrosse goal.

Next on the schedule for Bangor is Edward Little, next Wednesday. Brewer plays Winslow on Thursday.

Bangor lacrosse plays in Class A North Region. Brewer is playing in a statewide Class B division.
