Orono Girls XC Wins Another State Title

Make it three consecutive state titles for Orono High School girls cross country and make it six of the last seven years for the Red Riots.

CLASS C:  Erin Gerbi led the Riots with a third place finish (20:20.95) while Megan Gerbi, Julia White and Nora White finished 6th, 7th and 8th.

The Orono boys finished as runnerup to Maine Coast Waldorf HS.

CLASS B:  Greely HS swept boys and girls titles in B. The MDI Trojans were runnerup in both boys and girls.

CLASS A:  The Bonny Eagle HS girls claimed the state title in A. Mt. Ararat captured the boys crown. The Bangor boys were runnerup.
