Orono – Mattanawcook [PHOTOS]

The Orono Red Riots girls advanced to the Eastern Maine finals on Friday with a 47-31 win over Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln.

Sophomore point guard Hannah Clement scored 14 points and earned player of the game honors. She went 8 for 11 from the line including 3 for 4 late in the fourth quarter. Senior Elea Kass scored 10 points and junior center Katie Sypher had 9.

For the young Mattanawcook team, freshman center Sydney Robertson scored 10 points.
