Pearson Scores Two, Bears Get Win [VIDEO]
The UMaine hockey team got its season off on the right foot with a 3-1 win over St. Lawrence University at Alfond Arena.
Junior Chase Pearson was second on the team in points last season and he picked up right where he left off, scoring two of the three goals.
Ryan Smith tallied the other Black Bear goal.
Jeremy Swayman got the win in goal, making 16 saves. Arthur Brey made 34 for the Saints.
Game two of the weekend series in tonight.
