Penobscot Pioneers Open Season with 4-2 Win Over Blue Devils

The Penobscot Pioneers opened the 2025-26 season with a 4-2 win over the Blue Devils on Saturday, November 22nd at the Penobscot Ice Arena, in Brewer.

The Blue Devils are a coop team comprised of hockey players from Lewiston, Oak Hill, Mt. Ararat, Lisbon and Monmouth Academy.

Ella Davis had a hat trick for the Pioneers. Her goals were assisted by Charlotte Horton and Izzy Brideau (1st goal). Davis' 2nd and 3rd goals were unassisted.

Izzy Brideau scored an empty-netter to round out the scoring.

Abbie Derosier was in net and came away with 25 saves for the Pioneers.

The Blue Devils are 0-1 while the Pioneers are 1-0.
