The Bangor Rams poured in six three-pointers in the first quarter and were on their way to a 76-58 win over the Brewer Witches Wednesday night.

The Rams finished with 11 three-pointers for the night. Every starter hit one, including Matt Fleming who hit three of them. Fleming led Bangor with 34 points.

The Witches cut a 20 point halftime deficit to single digits in the third quarter, thanks in big part to Nate Laskey who came off the bench to score 16 points.

But Brewer could never get closer than nine points.

The win puts Bangor at 2-1. Brewer is also now 2-1.

The Rams play at Portland Friday night. The Witches host Hampden Friday night.

NOTE: The Bangor girls team beat Brewer 47-41. Rowan Andrews scored 19 points.for the Rams. Cassidy Smith had 19 for the Witches.
