The Bangor Rams picked up a bunch of Heal Points, taking down top ranked Edward Little High School, 57-47, at Red Barry Gym in Bangor Monday night. The Bangor girls win as well to make it a doubleheader sweep.

Bangor Boys 57  Edward Little 47:  The Rams controlled things early and had a 30-16 lead at halftime.

The Red Eddies then outscored Bangor 21-6 in the third quarter to grab a one point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

It stayed tight until the final minute when Bangor's Henry Westrich and Andrew Szwez hit clutch three-pointers to turn a four point lead into 10 points.

Westrich led the Rams with 22 points. Szwez had 17 and Sam Martin scored 15.

John Shea had 21 for the Red Eddies.

Bangor improves to 8-3. Edward Little drops to 9-2.

Bangor Girls 46  Edward Little 26:  The Rams rolled to a 17-2 lead after one quarter and never looked back.

Libby Fleming led Bangor with 20 points. Abbie Quinn added 13.

Chantel Ouellette and Hannah Chaput each had eight for the Red Eddies.

Bangor ups its record to 7-4. EL drops to 3-9.
