A large crowd turned out for the annual Fill the Alfond game between Bangor and Brewer and saw the Rams come away with a 5-2 win.The first four goals of the game were scored on special teams with Bangor netting the first two on a power-play goal by Alec Coleman-Pray and a shorthanded goal by Trevor Delaite. Before the first period came to an end Brewer would add a power-play goal of their own to cut the lead in half.

Each team scored a goal in the second period, but the Rams would put the game away in the third when Coleman-Pray deflected a shot by Brennan Lane for his second goal of the night before Ben Crichton capped the scoring with an empty netter.

Rams goaltender Derek Fournier stopped 17 shots in net while the Witches Tyler Friel made 27 saves in the loss.

Bangor improves to 11-4 with the win and play at Brunswick Saturday. Brewer falls to 8-7-2 and wrap up their regular season next Wednesday against John Bapst.
