USA TODAY has named Hermon High School boys coach Mark Reed the ALL-USA Maine Basketball Coach of the Year. Portland's Terion Moss is Player of the Year winner.

Reed led the Hawks to their first state championship.

Moss won the Mr. Maine Basketball Award and the Maine Gatorade Player of the Year honor.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Mark Reed, Hermon
Reed’s squad posted a perfect 22-0 record and won the school’s first state title in any boys team sport, defeating Wells, 55-34, in the Class B title game.
