The Sumner Tigers came roaring back after falling behind early to pull a last-second upset of the top-seed Central Aroostook Panthers.
After falling behind 16-2 at the outset, the No. 8 Tigers clawed back to to take the lead late in the game and took the lead for good with a 54-53 Colby McLean layup with one second left on the clock.
A last-second shot from beyond half court by Central Aroostook's Ben Thomas hot the rim, but bounced out.
Sumner will play Houlton in the Class C North semifinals on Friday at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
Kyle Brooks led the Tigers with 17 points. Simon Torrey added 14 points. Ethan Young had eight points. McLean finished with five points.
Ben Thomas led Central Aroostook with 22 points, including six three-pointers.
