Theriault Returns To Cup Series Racing [VIDEO]

Fort Kent's Austin Theriault will be back racing on the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series this weekend in Richmond, Virginia.

The 25-year-old Theriault will compete in his fourth Cup Series race this season, driving for the Rick Ware Racing Team.

He made the announcement on twitter...

So far this NASCAR season, Theriault has raced in New Hampshire, Pocono and Michigan. He finished 35th, 34th and 32nd respectively in those races.

Pole qualifying is Friday afternoon at 4:30pm. The NASCAR Cup Series race is Saturday night at 7:30pm.

NOTE: The Rick Ware Racing team will have three cars in the Richmond race. Theriault will be driving the #51 car. The three previous races he drove the team's #52 car.
