The UMaine men's basketball team fell for the fifth time in six games, this time losing Sunday afternoon to Dartmouth 81-56. The game at the Cross Center was tight until the Big Green went on a 14-5 just before halftime to lead 29-30 at the half.

The second half was all Dartmouth, winning the scoring battle 42-26. The Big Green from the Ivy League put four players in double figure scoring, shot 48% from the floor and out rebounded Maine 37-30. The win puts Dartmouth at 3-1.

The Bears were led by Zarko Valjarevic with 17 points.

It doesn't get any easier for the 1-5 Black Bears. The week includes a road trip to NJIT and then UConn.
