UM Softball Get New Look Helmets [VIDEO]

Not only will the Black Bears be appearing in their third NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon, but they also will be sporting a slightly different look.

On the bus down to Portland, before the team flew out to Georgia for the regional on Wednesday, Head Coach Mike Coutts unveiled a brand new helmet decal for the tournament.  The decal is a light blue Black Bear head logo that will be emblazoned on the left side of the team's batting helmets.  Maine will also sport a new NCAA patch for the regional as well.

The reaction was overwhelming by the team who is anticipating their match-up with Georgia on Friday.  The first game for the Black Bears will get underway at 3:30 p.m. on Friday in Athens, GA as Maine will face the #16 ranked Bulldogs.
