Van Buren Wins Prelim Matchup

As the prelim round moves on in our Town of the Year voting, the Aroostook County Play-In region is going on.

If it was based on population numbers this would be considered an upset as Van Buren a town of 2,171 residents in the 2010 census in their matchup against Presque Isle which had a population of 9,692 people in the 2010 census. Van Buren at less than a quarter of the population of the Star City pulled off the rout of 37.2%
