Nick Brewer of Houlton shot a 3-over-par 75 on Saturday and finished tied for first place in Class C at the high school golf state championships at Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro. Brewer shares the 2018 crown with Mitch Tarrio of Kents Hill school. Brewer shot an 82 at Natanis on Oct. 6, helping the Shiretowners claim their first team state championship since 2009.
