Wardens Respond To Hunting Accident [UPDATE]
Maine Game Wardens responded to a hunting accident today when a wife accidentally shot her husband. The couple was hunting for turkeys in the town of China.
Maine Warden Corporal John MacDonald said in a press release that the accident happened just before 10:30 this morning. That's when Janice Jacques, of Waterville, fired her shotgun and inadvertently struck her husband Reginald in his face and arm. Wardens says the 60-year-old is recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
The Jacques are cooperating fully with the Maine Warden Service. The case remains under investigation and no further details are available.
