Tyler Bridge ran for four touchdowns and threw for another one as the Wells Warriors pounded Foxcroft 55-20 to claim the Class D state championship.

That's three straight titles for Wells. The first one in Class C, the last two in Class D.

Bridge, a 6-foot-3 senior, came into the game with over 2,100 yards rushing and 40 touchdowns. He scored Saturday night on runs of two yards, four yards, 32 yards and 60 yards. And he also threw a 49-yard pass to Payton MacKay for another TD.

Sophomore Logan Martin scored twice for the Ponies.

Wells complete its perfect season at 12-0.

Foxcroft finishes 10-1.

NOTE: The South Region won three of the four state titles (Thornton Academy, Marshwood and Wells). Nokomis from the North Region claimed Class C.
