Westrich Scores 29, Rams Beat Vikes

The Bangor Rams got 29 points from Henry Westrich and 24 from Andrew Szwez in a 74-57 win over Oxford Hills at Red Barry Gym Thursday night.

The victory moves the Rams to 5-1 in Class AA North. The Vikings are still searching for their first win at 0-6.

Bangor broke out to a 19-8 lead after one quarter and then led 44-25 at the half.

The Rams kept Oxford Hills down by double digits for most of the second half.

The 74 points is the most Bangor has scored in any game but the 57 points allowed is also the most the Rams have given up.

Bangor will host Cheverus on Saturday afternoon.
