The move to make The Bible the 'State Book' of Tennessee has caused quite a stir in the media lately and it got us thinking about what Maine's 'State Book' would be....

Of course Maine has been the subject of many books in all genres. Some of the most well known books are from Maine authors too. Considering books written by Maine authors, or about Maine, here are some of the books we think would be the best literature to represent our State.
