Wisdom Girls Basketball Triumphs With 65-14 Victory Over Easton

The #1 Wisdom Girls Basketball Team beat #8 Easton 65-14 in a Class S Northern Maine Quarterfinal on Thursday afternoon, February 12 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Wisdom led 20-2 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 36-4 at the Half. The Lady Pioneers led 51-11 a the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Ava Lerman led all scorers with 40 points, setting the modern day Class S individual scoring record for most points in a game. She had 2 3's and was 6-7 from the free throw line. Peyton Roy had 10 points and Madi Cyr had a 3-pointer.

For the Lady Bears Sophie Blackstone had 7 points. The Lady Bears were 3-5 from the free throw line.

#1 Wisdom will now play #5 Ashland on Tuesday, February 17th at 1:30 p.m. in a Class S Semifinal.
