Brewer senior running back Bryant Kiley had been waiting in the wings behind guys like Trey Wood and Dylan Severance but he showed what he could do by scoring three touchdowns in a 37-21 win over Bangor in the annual preseason game.

Kiley rushed for a TD late in the first quarter to give the Witches a 7-0 lead.

After Nick Canaar scored a touchdown for Bangor to tie the game, Kiley caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Cody Wood and then scored on a one yard rush. The Witches led 24-7 at the half.

Brewer added two more scores in the third quarter to lead 37-7.

Bangor came back with two late touchdowns, one on a throw from QB Zach Milliken to Alex Yakubu and another on a fumble recovery scoop and score by Miles Tuttle.

Brewer opens the regular season next week hosting Lawrence. Bangor will host Edward Little.
