The Bowdoin College women's basketball team rolled into Bangor Tuesday night as the #1 ranked team in the nation in Division III and the Polar Bears rolled out of town with another win.

Bowdoin beat the Husson Eagles  85-48 to improve to 13-0. The Eagles drop to 7-6.

The Polar Bears got up on Husson 24-11 after one quarter and then outscored the Eagles 24-14 in the second quarter then cruised to their 13th victory.

11 players scored points, including former Bangor standout Cordelia Stewart, who had four points and four rebounds in 15 minutes of action. Presque Isle's Hannah Graham scored seven points and six rebounds in 22 minutes.

Taylor Choate led Bowdoin with 15 points.

Husson was led by Kenzie Worcester with 13 points and Megan Peach had another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Bowdoin moves on to play Trinity Friday night in NESCAC play.

The Eagles host Maine Maritime Academy in a big North Atlantic Conference game Friday night.
