AE Playoffs: Black Bears Advance To Semis

Tanesha Sutton had another double-double as the UMaine Black Bears walloped New Hampshire 69-39 in the quarterfinal round of the America East Conference playoffs.

It now sets up a semi-final matchup vs UAlbany Sunday afternoon. The game will be played at 'The Pit', Memorial Gym on the the UMaine campus.

Sutton had 24 points and 12 rebounds. Blanca Millan added 19 points.

The Black Bears forced UNH to turn the ball over 21 times and scored 25 points off those turnovers.

The Bears have won 12 in a row and go to 23-7 for the season.
