Allen Commits To Husson

Husson University women's basketball has a commitment from another top player from the North Region, Central HIgh School's Sidney Allen.

Allen is a 1,000 point scorer at Central in Corinth. This year she is averaging 21 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals per game. She is a two-time All State selection.

"I love Sydney's speed and quickness, she will add intensity and energy to our defense," said head coach Kissy Walker. "She is athletic, can handle the ball, distribute and shoot. Sydney has had a terrific senior year, but I think her best days are ahead of her." - Husson Press Release

Allen will study nursing at Husson.

Just last week, Presque Isle senior guard Emily Wheaton committed to play at Husson next year.
