Austin Wins Vote For Athlete of the Week

Brewer softball second baseman Kathryn Austin wins this week's on-line voting for the High School Athlete of the Week.

The junior came back from a broken nose earlier in the season to have a great week of postseason play. She hit a home run in the quarterfinal win and a key two-out, two-run double in the Witches semi-final win.

Austin received a majority of the votes in the weekly voting. Other nominated student athletes include Katey Libby from Mattanawcook Academy tennis, Kathadin pitcher Bradley Hotham and Oxford Hills pitcher Colton Carson.
