The Bangor Boy's Basketball Team rained down 3's on Greely beating the Rangers 66-50 in an exhibition game at Red Barry Gym on Tuesday, November 25th.

Greely led 15-12 at the end of the 1st Quarter, but Bangor took the lead in the 2nd Quarter, outscoring Greely 21-11 to take a 33-26 lead at the Half. The Rams led by just 2 points at the end of the 3rd Quarter, 45-43.

Bangor sank14 3-pointers in the game including 7 3's in the 4th Quarter.

The Rams were led by Nate Grunkemeyer who finished with 16 points including 4 3-pointers. Liam Vigue had 14 points with 3 3-pointers. Harrison Fitzgerald had 11 points with 2 3-pointers.

Bangor was 4-8 from the free throw line.

Greely was led by Rocky Axelson with a game-high 23 points including 3 3-pointers. Jackson Coull had 16 points with 2 3-pointers. The Rangers were 8-10 from the free throw line

Greely opens the season on Thursday, December 4th at Brunswick at 6:30 p.m.

Bangor opens the season on Saturday, December 6th at home against Brunswick at 1 p.m.
