Bangor Girls Beat Bulldogs [HS SATURDAY SCORES]

The Bangor girls basketball team scored from the inside and from the outside to beat the Lawrence Bulldogs 44-26 Saturday afternoon.

The victory gets the Rams back to .500 at 8-8 in Class AA. The win should lock up a spot in the upcoming tourney.

Lawrence is now 10-6 in Class North.

Bangor grabbed the early lead, 18-3 after one quarter and never let Lawrence back in the game.

Rams senior Katie Butler took care of business inside with 12 points. Olivia Sharrow nailed three 3-pointers and scored 10 points. Lauren Young added another 12.
