To say that former UMaine goalie Ben Bishop is on a roll would be an understatement. The Dallas Stars netminder recorded his third straight shutout with last night's 2-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Bishop has not allowed a goal in the last 204-minutes and 20-seconds.

His 6th shutout ties him for second best in the NHL this season. Bishop's .932 save percentage is tops in the league and his 2.08 GAA is #2 in the NHL.

Bishop and his coach, Jim Montgomery, played their college hockey at UMaine.

The Stars are 36-28-5 in the Western Conference standings. That's good enough for the first wild card playoff spot at the moment.
