Bowdoin Hoops Climbs To #14 In National Poll
With the help of some former Maine schoolgirl standouts, the Bowdoin College women's basketball team has climbed to #14 in the D3Hoops.com national poll.
The Polar Bears have finished their first semester schedule with a 9-0 record. One of four unbeaten teams in the powerful NESCAC Conference. (Tufts is #1 in the nation, Amherst is #3)
The Bowdoin roster includes former Bangor Rams standout Cordelia Stewart who is averaging five points and three rebounds a game. Former Presque Isle Wildcat Hannah Graham is averaging eight points, two assists and three rebounds per game.
South Portland's Maddie Hasson and Greely's Moira Train are also part of the Polar Bears rotation.
Bowdoin returns to action on December 29th.
