Brewer Senior League Advances To District Final [SCORES]

A day after Little League Baseball handed down its ruling on a protest, the Maine District #3 Senior League Tournament resumed play Thursday night with Brewer and Holbrook scoring wins.

Brewer defeated Bronco-Hermon 3-2 in 10 innings to advance to the district championship round on Saturday. The Bronco-Hermon team played without three players deemed ineligible by Little League

Holbrook beat Old Town 4-0 in the loser's bracket game.

Three teams remain in tourney play, Brewer, Bronco-Hermon and Holbrook and the schedule is now set...

Saturday, July 15th At Mansfield Stadium

3pm        Bronco-Hermon  vs  Holbrook

5:30pm   Winner  vs  Brewer

Sunday, July 16th At Mansfield Stadium

11am      If Necessary Game

NOTE: District #3 winner advances to the Senior League East Regional in New Jersey. That tournament begins next Thursday.
