Bucksport Football Coach Among First To Tee It Up

Longtime Bucksport football coach Joel Sankey admits he has been itching for this day - opening day at Bangor Muni and a chance to hit that little white ball.

He also admits that he will play golf every day, all year long, unless weather is an issue.

Now that's a golf junkie.

Sankey was one of many golfers who were ready to play when Bangor Municipal Golf Course and others in the area opened for business today.

Sure it's a little wet out there but there's golf to be played.

Bangor Muni pro Rob Jarvis admits it was a tough winter on golf courses in Maine but Muni made it through the snow and ice in pretty good shape.
