CLASS B: Gray-New Gloucester Defeats MDI For State Crown [GIRLS]

The Gray-New Gloucester Patriots defeated the north champs MDI Trojans Saturday afternoon to claim the state championship at Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.

Gray-New Gloucester led for most of the game and finished off the Trojans 43-30 to earn the gold ball.

For the Patriots, Brie Jordan scored 17 points in the win. Jordan Grant had 10 points.

Julian Watras led the Trojans with 9 points. Hannah Chamberlain had seven points and Maddie Candage added six points.

Gray-New Gloucester finishes the season with a 20-2 record.

MDI finishes the season at 19-3.
