If the class D state championship match-up sounds familiar it should. When MCI and Oak Hill meet tonight it will be a re-match of last years game.The Raiders took the gold ball a year ago with a 41-21 win over the Huskies thanks to a 342 yard performance by Alex Mace. MCI will not have to worry about him tonight as he has graduated, but the have not dropped off one year later.

Quarterback Dalton Therrien is the key to a powerful attack that has seen the senior throw for 1,297 yards and 17 touchdowns. He has also rushed for a team leading 870 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The Raiders will also try to become the first high school team in Maine football history to win three straight state titles.

MCI has not been tested this season and have outscored their opponents 484-78. Only once have their starters played in the second half of a game and the defense has pitched 6 shutouts in their 9 games.

Junior Willie Moss has stepped into the starting lineup and has rushed for 1,209 yards and 18 touchdowns. The Huskies can also air the ball out with quarterback Greg Vigue who has 1,105 yards and 16 touchdowns.
