Cole, Maybee Win The Souy Race [PHOTOS]

Clayton Cole and James Mabee don't often get the chance to paddle together but when the do...well, they win the annual Eliot Lamb Memorial Souadabscook Stream Race.

Cole and Mabee paddled the 7.5 mile course in 59-minutes and 53-seconds.

Both compete in most of the river races, including next week's 53rd Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race. In fact, Maybee is part of the Maybee war canoe that carries the traditional #1 boat to start the race.
