The John Bapst Crusaders have punched their ticket to the Class B North quarterfinals with a 55-39 victory over Ellsworth on Tuesday night.

The Crusaders avenged the loss they suffered last week at Ellsworth and won with a strong second half of play.  Crystal Bell led the way for John Bapst with 22 points and shot 10-11 from the free throw line.  She also hit three three-pointers in the contest for John Bapst.  Grace Philippon had 18 points as well for the Crusaders and Abbey Legasse had eight.

Samantha Mason led all scorers with 24 points, including notching 14 in the first half of play against Bapst.

The Eagles end the season with a 9-10 record, while #7 ranked Bapst will face #2 Presque Isle in the next round.  The Crusaders won the prior match-up against the Wildcats on December 23rd at the Cross Insurance Center.
