C’s Thomas Injured, No Go Tonight

Celtics leading scorer, Isaiah Thomas, will not play tonight against the Orlando Magic. He has been sent back to Boston to get treatment on his groin injury.

The injury happened in the loss to Houston Monday night. He played through it and planned on playing in Orlando tonight. But the team sent him on a flight back to Boston.

Thomas is averaging 26 points per game. That is second best in the Eastern Conference.

He has played in 103 straight regular season games.

Look for Marcus Smart to start in place of Thomas.
