Downeast Metro Golf: Cole Leads After Day 1 [SCORES]

Round one of the state's first big amateur golf tournament is in the books and Len Cole leads the pack.

The DownEast Metro is a two-day tourney with one round played at Bangor Municipal Golf Course and one round at Kebo Valley Golf course in Bar Harbor.

Len Cole fired a 4-under par 67 at Bangor Muni to lead the field.

Tom Caron shot a 2-under par 69. Four golfers are tied for third place at 1-over par.

All of the 'A' flight players will play at Kebo Valley Sunday.
