The Husson women's basketball team stays unbeaten while the Eagles men's team takes its first loss on a Husson Hall of Fame Saturday doubleheader with Bates College.

In the women's game, Husson defeated the Bobcats 60-44 to go 3-0 on the season. It stops an 18-game losing streak the Eagles had vs Bates.

Chandler Guerrette led Husson with 17, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals.

Nina Davenport led the (2-2) Bobcats with 13.

In the men's game, Bates beat the Eagles 72-62 handing Husson its first loss of the season (3-1). Bates is now 4-2.

Jerome Darling led the Bobcats with 16 points. Former Hampden Academy standout, NIck Gilpin, a freshman for Bates played 29 minutes and had 5 points and 4 assists.

Raheem Anderson led the Eagles with 20 points. Justin Martin hauled down 21 rebounds for Husson.
