Eagles Eliminated At Regional

The Husson University softball season is over. The Eagles lost 3-1 to Lebanon Valley in an elmination game Sunday afternoon. Husson had beaten Keene State 1-0 earlier in the day to stay alive.

The Eagles had a 1-0 over Lebanon Valley until the 6th inning. Three runs came in with two out in the inning to finish off Husson. The Eagles went 1-2 at the NCAA regional and 31-12 overall.

NOTE: UMaine baseball earned a spot in the upcoming America East Tournament with a 7-0 win over Albany at Mahaney Diamond Sunday afternoon.

The Bears got a combined shutout from Scott Heath and Shaun Coughlin.

Maine is 8-10 in AE play, 21-26 overall and now guaranteed one of the four playoff spots.
